The February 5, 2007 meeting was called to order @ 7:08 p.m. 

Attendance:  Jim Cuddy, Madelyn Duffy, Laurie Elliott, Brenda Ginter, Corinne Johnston, Fauna Lang, Linda Procopio, Richelle Rumble, Barb Sobczak, and Lee Verginio. 

Secretary’s Report: Minutes for the January 8, 2007 meeting were reviewed and accepted.  We will look into posting future minutes on the Web Site. 

Treasurer’s Report:  Laurie reported that there was approximately $x.xx in the BIFC account. A proposed budget was presented for review.  Arrangements will be made for check approval by either the Treasurer or Vice President.   Treasurers Report accepted. 

Coaches Report:  It was moved and approved after discussion that $xx be given to the coaches for 3 players workout uniforms. It was moved and approved after discussion that $x.xx be given to Candace Sweeney (new PE Teacher) for video tapes. 

Team Reps:  It is the consensus of this organization that two team reps should be in place for each grade group.  

Hope to have some team rep names available by the next meeting. 

NEW BUSINESS: 

A Thank You note from Maureen’s Hope Foundation for the BIFC donation of $x.xx was received.  A beautiful basket was given to Coach Bader, to let him know that we are thinking about and praying for him. 

New Field Proposal – Mr. Quimby/Jean Dangle will be available to explain the proposal after it is presented to the School Board.  A mailing and notice on web site will be made when a meeting date for this is finalized. 

Coca Cola Money – Form needs to be submitted to Coca Cola – Checks are cut on the 15^th of Feb, May & November.  Laurie Elliott will see if she can find last Mays $x.xx money from Coca Cola. 

The BIFC Golf Outing (which is used to raise money for 4 scholarships) is planned for May 12^th at Foxfire. 

Fund-raising regarding a possible Football Night at Burger King was tabled for consideration at a future date. 

A motion was made, discussed and approved to send $x.xx to Francis House in memory of Larry Collins father, who passed away recently. 

It was noted that Tim Witherbee, a 2006 football player received the 2006 Football Foundation recognition. 

A $x.xx donation was made, via coaches’ budget, for the Baseball/LAX/Football concession stand recently built by the Baseball Booster organization, behind Durgee. 

Big 30 Camp – dates need to be confirmed.  It will probably run from Monday to Friday. 

Bville Football Program will also be hosting the Combine again this year. 

A Unity Day is being planned – possibly for April.  It was not held last year.  It is felt that this should be a “fun” program with recognition of the Senior Players 2007 season.  Jim Cuddy will gather some more information regarding possibly borrowing from the Twomblys , a “Jugs” machine (for football) to be used for this event.

Richelle Rumble will be looking at some new novelties, and will keep us informed.
